Cape Cod
A new classic for small spaces! A hardy, repeat blooming machine with big, mophead flowers, extra-dark green leaves, and a neat, mounded form. Perfect for foundations and borders. Harvest blooms for long-lasting cut floral arrangements. Blooms in the spring, re-blooms & reaches roughly 4' tall by 4' wide.
Cape Hatteras
Stunning, long-lasting ruby red color on captivating mophead blooms that is not influenced by soil pH. A compact variety with bright green, thick foliage, perfect for massing in the landscape or for use in containers. Produces masses of superb cut flowers with notably sturdy stems. A re-bloomer that reaches roughly 3.5’ tall by 4’ wide & blooms in the spring.
Cape Lookout
Amazingly long-lasting, large blooms that emerge pale green, turn pure white, then develop a lovely light pink tinge as they age. Thick, dark green foliage has wonderful dark bronze fall coloring. Superb cut flowers on sturdy stems. Mass in the landscape or use as a showy container accent. Resists scorch and burn even on hot summer days. A re-bloomer that reaches roughly 3.5’ tall by 4’ wide & blooms in the spring.
Cape May Serrata
Very large lacecap blooms stand tall, supported by strong, extra thick stems. Flowers will be blue in acidic soils, and more pink in neutral to alkaline soils. Compact mounded form is ideal for borders. Serrated leaves show touches of red and burgundy in the sun, as they age. A re-bloomer that reaches roughly 3’ tall by 3’ wide & blooms in the spring.
Crystal Cove
Frilly lacecap blooms are edged with deep purple-blue when grown in acidic soils, deep pink when grown in neutral or alkaline soils. This re-blooming variety continues to bloom throughout summer, with the flowers deepening in color as they age. Superb cut flowers on notably tough stems. Blooms in the late spring, re-blooms & reaches roughly 4’ tall by 4’ wide.
Fire Island
A variety that has a parade of color with long-lasting, bi-color blooms that are white, edged in rich rosy red, and mature to deep pink. Robust, dark green, leathery foliage has fantastic maroon color in spring and fall. A compact mophead variety, perfect for massing and in pots. Superb cut flowers on notably tough stems. Blooms in the spring, re-blooms & reaches roughly 3.5' tall by 3' wide.
Glacier Bay
Brilliant, crisp-white lacecap blooms arise from dramatic black stems. This rebloomer flowers all summer and into fall. A compact variety with bright green thick foliage, perfect for massing in the landscape or for use in containers. Produces masses of superb cut flowers with notably sturdy stems. Blooms in the summer, re-blooms & reaches roughly 3’ tall by 3’ wide.
Hamptons
Huge, ball-shaped blooms with thick, intense pink florets on amazingly tough stems. Long-lasting and perfect for cut floral displays. Naturally compact shape has robust, dark green, leathery foliage with fantastic maroon color in spring and fiery cinnamon-red in fall. Resists scorch, even if watering is missed on a hot day! Blooms in the spring, re-blooms & reaches roughly 3.5' tall by 3' wide.
Kitty Hawk
A showy rebloomer with a profusion of full mophead clusters of star-shaped flowers on very sturdy stems. Blooms start light green before blushing to pink in alkaline soils, or purple to blue in acidic soils. Thick, dark green leaves don't wilt in afternoon heat. Outstanding in cut flower arrangements. Great for containers, mass plantings, or as a small garden specimen. A Monrovia exclusive that reaches roughly 4’ tall by 4’ wide & blooms in the spring.
Martha’s Vineyard
Long-lasting, sumptuous pink-red mophead blooms that are not influenced by soil pH. Flowers develop a lovely green tinge as they age. A compact, re-blooming variety with lush dark green foliage, perfect for massing in the landscape or for use in containers. Superb cut flowers with notably sturdy stems. A re-bloomer that reaches roughly 3.5’ tall by 4’ wide & blooms in the spring.
Newport
A showy re-bloomer with a profusion of full mophead flower clusters that mature to a deep pink on very sturdy stems. Outstanding in cut flower arrangements. Bloom color changes with soil pH, more blue-violet in acidic soils, deeper pink in alkaline soils. Great for containers, mass plantings, or a small garden specimen. A deciduous Monrovia exclusive. A re-bloomer that reaches roughly 4’ tall by 4’ wide. & blooms in the summer.
Outer Banks
Delicate lace-cap blooms that smother this compact hydrangea. An excellent repeat bloomer that is ideal for a shady space. Blooms will be blue in acidic soils and more pink in neutral to alkaline soils. A perfect landscape accent or patio container specimen. Wonderful cut or dried flowers. Blooms in the spring, re-blooms & reaches roughly 4' tall by 4' wide.
