Holden's Solar Flair

Quickly becoming known as one of the best hardy, yellow Rhododendrons, 'Solar Flair' explodes in mid-spring with true yellow flowers that sport a fiery red blotch. Produces flowers with wavy edges that are a pale greenish yellow, with dark red flare at base of each lobe and some peripheral spotting. Has semi-glossy, moderate olive green leaves that compliment its blooms well. Can tolerate full shade, blooms early spring & reaches roughly 5 feet tall.
